DIALOGUES BETWEEN CULTURAL RIGHTS AND VISUAL ARTS: THE RUSTIC FILM AS ARTISTIC EXPRESSION IN CONTEMPORARY BRAZIL – A CASE STUDY OF THE WORK “ENTRELAÇADOS”

Abstract

Through bibliographic research, the corpus aims to analyze the rustic film as a contemporary Brazilian artistic expression. Based on the case study of the work “Entrelaçados”, the following specific objectives are articulated: to weave dialogues between visual arts and cultural rights; examine the way of capturing reality in the fictional message; document social looks from the feature film. The study is justified by the fact that a simple mobile phone opens a range of possibilities so that each social actor can become a producer of rustic cinema, mediate conflicts and actively exercise citizenship in a free and responsible way. It is concluded that low-budget production is at the service of the desired digital inclusion in Brazil.
